I'm About To Reveal The Answer That Has Puzzled Countless People Who Have Tried To Solve The MLM Puzzle. This Is So Simple, Most Will Never See What I Am About To Show You Below.

Back in 1982 or so, I first got introduced to network marketing through my mother. She signed up as a rep for a business selling costume jewelry. Back then jewelry was usually made of valuable metals and gems, so non-precious metal jewelry was considered costume jewelry or fake jewelry. I remember her doing home jewelry parties and recruiting others into the business. Pretty soon she built a nice income and my first impression of mlm network marketing was established.
Today in 2010, I recently become seriously interested in earning some extra income with an mlm opportunity. So, I've done some reading, spoke with a few people, gotten their thoughts regarding this business model. And here's what I found. The common thread among many people seems to be experiences of business failure.
More often than I would like, people said "I was never successful because I wasn't any good at recruiting." And after doing more research, I realized where some people have gone wrong. And it's with this...
MLM ISN'T A BUSINESS, IT'S A STRATEGY
Multi-Level Marketing was invented as a way to mathematically leverage the sales effort of other people. Keywords being sales effort. Without sales effort, there will not be results. And because effort must be applied to selling a product, then the focus of the business must be selling the product - the benefits - the solutions, not the strategy.
Consider this. Amway, the most successful mlm based business in the world, sells thousands of products. From soaps to cars, they sell almost everything. But the one thing they do not sell as the income foundation of their company is mlm strategies. The lesson from this example is, don't confuse opportunity with instant success.
You can't buy instant success.
And this is the mistake many people make. They assume that if they buy an opportunity, they are buying success. It doesn't work that way.
Even when someone offers to help you build your downline, don't assume 100% of the business solution is complete. Yes, recruiting problems can be solved. Yet, the job of selling the product is still not finished. The big income, the big paychecks, they get generated by selling the product.
THE SECRET IS SELLING THE PRODUCT
Sell people what they want. This is one of the greatest secrets I ever learned that has dependably produced results. Remember this every time you are preparing or making a sales pitch. From a demand or a product standpoint, matching and delivering the specific things people want will all but guarantee your success. The final step to closing the sale is helping your customer afford what you sell.
While there are plenty of business opportunities, keep your eyes focused on the product or service. The secret to growing a business is based on selling. Get great at selling the product first.
Know the product and solutions it solves back and forth. Then ask the other questions. How many people want to solve this problem and will they buy this solution? Is this solution priced right? Is it affordable or able to be financed? How does this solution compare to the alternatives? Am I competent enough to sell this solution? Is there enough profit in selling this solution to make a good living? Is selling this solution fun?
CONTRIBUTE YOUR 1%
Obviously, what attracts most people to an mlm business opportunity is the chance to build a sales team. The example of earning 1% of 100 people's effort is an attractive offer no matter what the percentage. But you must also product 1% in effort too. You must want to do your part.
This is why focusing on selling the solution, the product, is so important to your entire business plan. The product has to be the primary source of revenue. So, to make that happen you must help sell the product.
ADVISE YOUR TEAM TO DO THE SAME
Have fun. Believe in what you're selling. The exciting part about this business is having the power to sell solutions, and if you spend just 10% of your time recruiting your income will grow too. That combination of effort will generate the future rewards you seek while building a sales team.
This is how you build a business. Focus on selling solutions, and people who see how much fun you are having will ask you how they can do the same.
Keep this concept simple and you will prosper.
FORGET MAGNETIC MARKETING OR ATTRACTION MARKETING
You don't have to market yourself as an expert in your field to draw attention to yourself. If you want people to be drawn to you and begging you to be their mentor, get good at selling first. Generate product sales and show people how to get good at selling.
I promise you, if you can sell 40 accounts or products a month, people in your company will take notice and send you recruits. When you have a problem with handling an over abundance of sales, you'll find a way to delegate some of your work to others. You will also share some of your customer leads and find sales people to handle the work.
Don't get focused on making a name for yourself and becoming popular. If you do, you will disappoint many people because they will attempt to become popular too. If that's what your preaching, your followers will try to achieve your level of popularity. And there is only so much room at the top. While there is plenty of space for making money and getting rich at the bottom.
What you must help to duplicate is not recruiting tactics, but product sales methods. To be as successful as you in selling, your sales team needs to know exactly what you are saying and who you are saying it to.
You've got to pay your dues first. There are no shortcuts to experience.
